Friz Technologies Ghana Limited is a private engineering firm offering a wide range of services in the Electrical and Electronic sector, Telecommunications sector, Building and Industrial Automation (Building Management Systems & Programmable Logic Controls), Civil and Building Construction sector, Equipping and Training of clients’ staff to operate and manage electrical and electronic installations effectively.
Our head office is in Accra, Ghana with branch offices in Kumasi and Tamale but executes projects beyond our shores into the West African Sub-Region.
Since the establishment of our business in January 2015 we have strived to make a real and lasting difference to the engineering ecosystem in institutions we have worked in. We enable our clients to obtain / deliver high-quality and sustainable outcomes most efficiently with innovative technologies at our disposal by advising professionally on engineering inputs, structuring and algorithms that deliver value for money with the highest safety standards observed.

Friz Technologies Ghana Ltd is a Ghanaian owned dynamic electrical, electronic and construction engineering company committed to excellence. Friz Technologies Ghana Ltd was first incorporated in the year 2000 as Syscom Limited, and changed its name to Friz Technologies Ghana Ltd on January 2015 after expansion in its scope of works.
We provide a superior and comprehensive feasibility studies, electrical and electronic designing, civil works, telecommunication mast construction, quantity surveying, budgeting, installation and project management services to our variety of clients in the industry.
We have provided enormous support to the estate development sector, processing industries, telecommunications, broadcasting and electronic services to both the public and the private sectors of economies within the West African Sub-Region.

MEET THE TEAM
Friz Technologies Ghana Ltd is a horizontal organization boasting of a team of experienced and dedicated staff with backgrounds in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Civil and Building Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Operations, Finance and Business Analysis among others. This broad spectrum of competences allows us to support you in every step along the way of your engineering infrastructure project, from inception to delivery. It also guarantees safety and a full range of aftersales services to your project. We consider a broad spectrum of areas and take into account their interdependencies to provide you with a holistic advice and solutions.
Besides our in -house team, we work extensively with local and international consultants and companies to ensure the right expertise for each assignment.
Wisdom Bimpong
Founder & Technical Director
Wisdom Bimpong is a Ghanaian Electrical and Electronic Engineer with over 20 years’ experience in the Power Industry, mainly Design and building of Power Distribution Substations, Telecommunication Design and Industrial and Building Automation.
He has a BSc. Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He worked as Electrical Engineer Level 1 for Anglogold Ashanti Iduapriem Mine, Atlantic International Holdings Ltd and subsequently held the position of Fuel Control Manager for Netis Ghana Ltd, a major player in the Telecom Service Providers. Wisdom Bimpong also worked as Electrical Project Manager for the Design and Construction of the Biggest Cashew Nut Processing Factory situated at Prampram which is owned by Usibras Ghana Ltd. He again worked with Contracta Enginharia as Electrical Engineer for the Phase1 of Kejetia Market Complex until completion.
He worked as the Co-Project Manager of the construction of 2x26MVA Primary Substation at Ogbojo.
He doubles as the Group Chairman of Friz Group of Companies. (Friz Technologies Ghana Ltd, Friz Farms and Friz Transport and Logistics)
Kofi Akuffo Newman
Managing Director
Kofi Akuffo Newman is a career banker with almost 10 years banking experience with specialization in credit and risk management. He started his banking profession with Amalgamated Bank (later became Bank of Africa) in 2006 as Credit Officer and rose through the ranks to become Head of Credit Administration and to Head, Credit Risk Prevention Management (Corporate Banking) for Bank of Africa, Ghana.
Kofi joined the Medical Credit Fund in late 2015 as a Senior Business Analyst. He acted as a senior team member for PST members in the PharmAccess team and of its Technical Assistance Partner (Marie Stopes International), supervises their work and trains team members on the job.
Kofi is a co-founder of Centroid Company Limited and a Director. He comes in with over 10 years of management experience in diverse backgrounds.
Kofi Akuffo Newman is a graduate of Paris Graduate School of Management.
Olivia Eunice Quartey (Mrs)
Director, Finance & Administration
Mrs. Olivia Eunice Quartey is a career Accountant with over twenty years of experience in the field of audit, financial management corporate governance and risk management.
She joined UHY Voacon Chartered Accountant audit firm in 2002 as an audit trainee and rose through the ranks to become an audit Manager. In July 2015 Olivia joined the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana where she was in charge of training accountants.
Olivia is a self-motivated and achievement-oriented person with commercial skills in performance improvement and delivering accurate and timely financial reporting. She has good human relations, an excellent communicator and a good team player. She is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG) and a member of the institute.
David Nii Odartey Lamptey
Project Manager - Civil & Building Works
Mr. David Nii Odartey Lamptey is an experienced Civil Engineer with over 10 years of experience in Civil Works and general Construction. He has the knowledge and experience it takes to set up and run high quality Civil Engineering project sites with high quality safety standards. Mr. Lamptey has worked for Peniel Engineering & Supply Ltd as the Project Civil Engineer/QAQC Engineer, ENI Ghana as Construction Engineer, Nimtree Shelters Ghana Ltd and Trasacco Estates Development Company Limited in various projects.
He is technology driven and brings strong technical and managerial experience to Friz Technologies Ghana Ltd. He is adept with management and quality control systems, and is responsible for leading the operations in civil engineering management with responsibility to ensure excellent client’s orders delivery to their utmost satisfaction. Mr. David Nii Odartey Lamptey holds both BSc (Hons) Civil Engineering and MSc Project Management from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
Richmond Segbefia
Project Manager - Electrical Works
Mr. Richmond Segbefia is an accomplished Electrical Engineer with over 12 years of experience in electrical systems designing, electrical installations of both domestic and commercial structures as well as high tension transmission cabling. He has the knowledge and experience in supervising multiple on site teams to deliver on high quality Electrical Engineering projects with high quality safety standards.
Richmond has worked for Ghana Grid Company Ltd (GRIDCo), Fine Prints, Tema and Alpha TND Power Ltd as a site supervisor executing a number of projects. He brings a good technical and supervisory experience to Friz Technologies Ghana Ltd. He is responsible for managing the electrical engineering operations with responsibility to ensure client’s orders are executed on time and to their satisfaction.
Richmond Segbefia holds HND Electrical Engineering from the Accra Technical University.
Adelaide Mireku Ennim
Human Resource & Administrative Manager
Adelaide Mireku Ennim is an accomplished Senior Management Executive with a proven record of business transformation and analysis in Human Resource and Administration.
With more than a decade of work experience, she has held leadership roles in the Consulting, Education, Banking, Clearing and Freight Forwarding, Manufacturing, Medical and Technology sectors.
She was educated at Apam Senior High School in the Central Region of Ghana before graduating from the Methodist University of Ghana with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Human Resource Management).
Passionate about people, she delivers game changing HR and Diversity and Inclusion agenda that aligns all stakeholders and management interests, enabling achievement of corporate objectives, realizing value creation plans and social impact.
